Gua sha is an ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine technique and is one of the most effective self-care practices you can learn.

Originally used to treat various health concerns and discomforts, its modern application has shifted to focus on facial treatments.

Consistent use provides a wide range of benefits, such as enhanced circulation, improved lymphatic drainage, healthier skin tone and elasticity, a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, alleviated tension and stress, and the prevention or reduction of breakouts.

Instructions:

Prepare Your Skin:
Before using the gua sha tool, ensure that your skin is clean and well-hydrated. We suggest using Living Libations Best Skin Ever for the necessary slip for the tool to glide smoothly across your skin.

Use Gentle Pressure:
It's important to apply light, consistent pressure rather than aggressive scraping.

Use Slow, Controlled Movements:
Move the tool slowly and steadily along each section. Allow the tool to do the work, and be mindful of your movement to avoid overstretching or tugging on delicate skin, especially around the eyes and neck.

Start with Warmth:
It can be helpful to warm the gua sha tool in your hands before using it. You can also place it in warm water for a few seconds to give it a gentle heat. This will help the skin and muscles to relax, improving the flow of blood and lymph.

Maintain Consistency:
Use your Gua Sha tool 2-3 times a week for visible improvements in skin tone, elasticity, and overall appearance. They can also use it as part of their evening routine to relax and unwind.
